Parking at Pop

Can anyone recommend a good building at Pop that has plenty of parking (preferably close to the buildings)? We stayed there last May and while we loved the resort, the parking was terrible. We were in the 50's building, and every night when we got back from the parks the parking lot was so full, we drove around and around looking for a space. We would have to park way far away from our room, and then carry DS2 and DS5 (usually asleep) all the way back to the room. We're going back in April and staying there again (unless we get a code for a moderate), and I need suggestions on which building to request.

I was going to say the 50's section but in bldg 2....it backs up to the end of the parking lot. The other area would be the 80's/90's section. We were in the 80s bldg, with Roger Rabbit in front...the parking lot was a very short walk from our room..we actually faced the parking lot. Good thing there were trees in between.

I've never been impressed with the parking layout at Pop. There seem to be enough spaces, but not enough of them are close to the rooms.

The 50s, buildings 1 & 2, actually are some of the better areas for parking at Pop. Everywhere else it just gets worse.

Let me suggest another plan - try another Value resort. Parking at the All-Stars is far superior to parking at Pop, especialy on the south side of Music and on the north side of Movies; there is a HUGE lot between the resorts with lots of good spots close to several buildings. My personal preference is the Broadway section of Music, buildings 7 & 8, but with two littles you might like Movies better, either Mighty Ducks bldg 3 or Love Bug bldg 6. NOTE: If you wind up in bldg 3, you are actually much closer to Music's food court than Movies' food court.

On my last trip to WDW I stayed in Movies bldg 3 and got a great parking space every night.

To get a good idea of what I'm talking about, have a look at the maps of the All-Stars and Pop on my Maps page:

Thanks for the advice. We were in the 50's building facing the parking lot, but there were so many people and not enough spaces. I would stay at another value, but we have a 30% bounceback code and when I made the reservation, Pop was the only one available. Hopefully the AP codes will be out soon for April & May and I use another code for somewhere else.
