Parking at DTD?

I just made a dinner reservation for Oct 11 in downtown Disney at 6:30. It put up a warning to arrive an hour in advance of reservations at DTD. Is this really necessary??

Not a bad idea. DTD (now Disney Springs) has been difficult to get to with all the construction for a year or more.

You'll be going during the weekend at a prime time, so yes I'd recommend arriving in the Disney Springs area 45 min-1hour ahead of your reservation.

Traffic has gotten better, and once you're there parking is easy..but it does get backed up on the weekends and around dinner time during the week
