I plan to go to Bay Lake Towers before check in and go straight to the park. I'm not expecting my room to be ready that early. Will I have any issue parking in the lot since I am checking in that day?

If you do online check in, be sure to specify your arrival time. I got the text our room was ready just before we pulled into the parking area at 8 am. We were able to unload the rental to our room and then head to the park.

We're locals and DVC members who stay at BLT a couple of times per year. Before Covid we generally arrived at about 7am (and had absolutely no problem getting in to park), left our luggage at bell services, and had a quick breakfast at the QS (Contempo Cafe) before heading to the park. Whether or not our room is ready is really hit (perhaps 1/4 of the time)-or-miss (about 3/4 of the time), even when we specify a 7am arrival time. We've stayed at Riviera and Wilderness lodge since the re-opening and had no issue parking at 7-8am. Be sure you have photo ID ready when you get to the parking booth; a magic band is helpful too.
