Parking at a resort on check-in day

On check-in day, how early can I park in the lot at the resort? We are switching from off-site to on-site and our kids surprised us with 8:00 am Keys to the Kingdom Tour tickets. I would like to park at the resort (early, like 7:00am), take a bus to MK, take the tour and then go back to the resort to check in.
My thought is that a bus directly to MK would take less time than parking at MK and deal with the tram to the monorail to the park entrance.

This will be fine at most resorts.

You can complete online check-in and note your early arrival. If you want you can even drop off bags with bell services so they do not have to remain in your vehicle. You will receive a text when your room is ready. the text should state what your room number is. You will not have to go to the front desk at all.
