Parking and 1-day/late start strategy

Flying into Burbank, ahead of a work event, and planning to sneak away to Disneyland for a day. Flight arrives at 8:30am…so thinking I can be in the park by 10:30am. Question is….since this is a 1-day trip….where is the best place to park? And, what is the best strategy for a Monday (in June), late start, visit?

For reference, I’ve been to Disneyland MANY times but typically there for rope drop. Definitely want to ride all the mountains, and as many classics as possible…. and then just enjoy being there (since it’s a sort-of impromptu visit!).

That was not me, but for a late start I would definitely include Genie+ in the budget, maybe even buy it with the tickets in case G+ sold out that day. If picking up a car, would not park at Toy Story Lot - bus can add time (although you're already thru security - but has no "magic feel" like the parking structures - and in June the covered structure parking is cooler} - at least there you feel the Disney vibe while waiting - honestly, Uber would be even faster than parking as they let you out quite a bit closer to the entrances.

I used SpotHero and parked at the Courtyard Anaheim Marriott (valet). It cost $42 for a full day, and I was able to find a discount code to bring the cost down under $40. It’s a super short walk to the esplanade and was well worth it, IMHO!

If you happen to have a car, and need to park… I highly recommend this option as a time saver. The cost is comparable to the Disney parking structure, but it’s much closer, and the valet service is a nice bonus!

In terms on park strategy, as @TinkAgainU said, Genie+ is a must (again, IMHO) for a late start day! I had purchased a 1-day, 1-park WITH Genie+… and my travel partner added Genie+ to her ticket after we entered the park.
