Parkhoppers Pin Party Review

Once again, Vince & Suzi (<i>The Parkhoppers</i>), hosted a wonderful day of pins, pals, and fun!

Local and distant pinpals included guests from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Florida, and Ohio.

Everyone had a chance to play bingo, try some mystery pintrading, share some muchies, watch some Disney movies (and a baseball game), and . . . . <i>oh yes, <b>trade some pins too!</i></b>

[Parkhopper]

We had a very nice meet which lasted from 1pm on Saturday until 2am on Sunday. The meet was a little smaller than I had expected, but I would say that there were about 25 people or so that attended. Suzi had to work at the Disney Store in the morning so Steve (ZXDad) and Lisa (Tiggersmom) helped me with the setup details for the meet. There were people waiting at 1pm when I opened the door and we got started right away. We had our usual activities of mystery pin trades, limited edition pin bingo, and door prizes. There seemed to be a lot of pin trading going on and at times I felt like I had to get in line to get the chance to look at people's pins to even get started trading. We did trade for quite a few pins at the meet ourselves and from what I was seeing most of the people in the room seemed to be doing quite a number of multi pin trades with lots of happy outcomes where people were getting things they had been looking for. I know we were able to cross a few pins off of our lists! I am hopeful that Debbie (EpcotKilterFan) was able to get a couple of pictures at the meet because I was just too busy during the meet and didn't get the chance.

I want to thank everyone who came to the meet! We had a really great time and enjoyed trading for lots of pins! We had visitors from up and down the East Coast from Massachusetts to Florida and West to Ohio!

We came back from the meet around 2am, but didn't get to bed until after 5am so we haven't had much sleep around here!

Thanks to you both for having the pin party again. I always enjoy these, and it was nice to be able to go again.

I actually got to trade pins this time I the last 2 I went to I don't think I did any actual trading.

The games and prizes were wonderful and as always you all go out of your way to make everyone happy.

Glad I was actually able to help you get a couple of pins you didn't have (shocking!)

I'm looking forward to the next time we can get together.

You two are some of the best pin pals a person could have.

Carol and I tried to get there but other things kept getting in the way. By the time we had everything done and could start the drive to MD when we got there we would have had to turn around to go home. Sorry we didn't make it. Hope no one was involved in that 90 car pileup on I-95 on Saturday.
