We would love to do one of the park tours on our next trip. I have a 13 yo and 9 yo son. Has any one done the Disney Family Magic Tour? Any info would be great. Also does anyone know why you have to be 16 to do the Keys to the Kingdom. DH and I would love to do that one, but so wuld DS's!!

Thanks Bunches!!

I've never done the Family Magic tour, so perhaps someone else can answer that for you.

With regard to the age restriction, it has mostly do to with the things that you see behind the scenes. Let's just say that those tours completely burst the bubble on a lot of Disney secrets, including the one about how Mickey can quickly get from one location to another (if you get my drift.)

Disney has deemed that the behind the scenes tours just aren't appropriate for a certain age group.

On our Keys to the Kingdom tour, we saw Pooh without a head if that answers your question.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

To those of age I really reccomend the tour. It is very informative.

My ds's will be 13 and 10 and I thought this may be fun and different - love to hear from families who did this tour!

We did the family magic tour last December with our girls 4 and 8. They had an absolute blast. The tour group is trying to find out who stole captain hooks golden hook. After following the map and doing many crazy things around the park such as pretending to fly, hopping on one foot and solving the different clues you finally find peter pan and wendy. Everyone is able to take individual pictures with both of them and then everyone in the group is escorted to a ride. When we went my daughters got to ride the Peter Pan ride WITH Wendy Darling. It is a moment none of us will EVER forget!!!!!

I strongly suggest doing this tour if you have time. It is WONDERFUL!!!!!

Thanks for the great info everyone!! We will definitly try the Family Magic Tour. Will let you all know how we liked.

The headless Pooh thing would have given me the willies! Unfortunately it probably would have entertained my guys! LOL

Thanks again!

I do believe, I do believe!!!
