Park-to-Park buses are now at MK gates

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

MK> Epcot = Monorail to TTC, Switch to 2nd Monorail to Epcot
MK> DHS = Direct Bus
MK> AK= Direct Bus

AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> MK= Direct Bus

DHS> MK= Direct Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

Yea, now they do it. Now that park hopping isn't as good without being able to get FPs in more than one park a day.

Actually, it makes more sense now than ever as alot of people will do rope drop in one park while they save their fastpasses at another for the evening/night.

Since the monorail is shut down during the day now is there a bus between Epcot and mk? Or is park hopping via monorail still an option since Epcot line is open?

I've been waiting to see a report.
Guests can take the ferry boat to TTC, then monorail to Epcot (and vice versa.)
But, it would also make sense to have a dedicated Epcot<>MK bus to help handle the traffic load when the TTC<>MK monorails are down. (Same can be said about the MK area resorts and Epcot.)

I hope someone has checked and will report.

Depends on where you're first headed at Epcot.

And, that also requires a walk from the Epcot resort
bus stop (I'd choose Beach Club or Boardwalk) to the IG.
It's not a very long walk, but it should be factored in.

I just posted this in another thread: I think this is great, because last month we would regularly hit three parks a day, and the biggest hurdle was getting from park to park.

Consider this from a much higher altitude, Disney is looking at four parks each day and decided maybe it isn't such a bad idea to balance that capacity by moving guests between the parks more efficiently.

Because how many times is AK sitting almost empty while MK is packed?

That's why we actually found enhanced value with Park Hoppers when FP+ came along. We would make our FP's for late afternoon in one park, go to a different park for RD, then go to a third park in the evening for parades and/or fireworks. And any walk-on opportunities that may have presented themselves.

Now that they are providing direct routes between parks, maybe those bean counters are pretty smart after all....
