My DH has a parkhopper w/ 2 days left. It would be about $200 for me to buy a 2 day hopper. If I bought a 7 or 8 day hopper w/ no expiration for about $280 and used 2 days, how much would I get applied towards the purchase of an AP next year? Would they divide the 280 by 7 days at 40 a day and say I used $80 and put $200 towards an AP or would they deduct the $200 a 2 day hopper would cost and apply $80?
Also, his pass has the waterpark and more option. Can old passes with this do the golf option? Can that only be done once or could he golf all 5 times? We have the annual waterpark/Disney Quest pass, so those options are not appealing right now.
Thanks!

are the parks the only place in ORL or FL that you can make the upgrades?

Yes, all upgrades to annual passes must be done on site at a Guest Relations window. Those are located at the major parks, the TTC and in Downtown Disney (one in the MarketPlace and one on the West Side).

We have bought parkhoppers since his and he could have paid to add days to his but you could only have a total of 10 days. He had bought a 7 day in August 2005, used 5, and wanted 7 more in December 2007, so he bought a new one which he used. Have the rules changed where you cannot do this?

You only have 14 days fron the day you first use your ticket to add on to any ticket or to upgrade to an annual pass. The only exception to that is the Florida resident 3 or 4 day tickets that are good for six months fron the date of first use. They can make changes during the six months.

For any ticket that is upgraded to an annual pass, the expiration date of the annual pass is the first day the original ticket was used.
