Park Tickets - reduced entry late in the day?

Just wondering if this is possible.

We arrive quite late on our first day and might not make the parks. We will probably be staying off-site, but with the chance that the park will be open late for Dreams, and it being Abbey's birthday, I thought it might be nice to pop in for an hour or so if we can.

So, do Disney offer a reduced entry if you're purchasing tickets at the entrance only an hour or so before the park closes?

No you'd have to pay full price but depending on when you go there might be cheaper day tickets around like the Francilien or the 20€ for friends and family with an AP etc :)

Ask at your hotel. I believe after 5 or 7 there is a reduced ticket.

It was available in the past, but now there is not such a ticket (2 friends of mine tried last year).
However, if you arrive late in the afternoon, you might just shop around Disney Village, have a nice dinner there and maybe watch a film (some are in original language).

Thanks, it was original plan just to have a meal and wander round the village - we won't be there until early evening. I just thought it might be nice if we found a cheapish way to watch Dreams as it's my DD's birthday when we arrive.

I suppose this might not be a problem if we manage to get a super package price and add an extra night :lmao:

Just having a nosey as you do and seeing you might now be staying offsite for your trip? Are you stlll keeping an eye on DLP hotel prices?

I actually am losing hope of getting a deal for early June - none of the recent offers have included half term :sad2:.

But, we've now bought APs so we will try the room tax route onsite so that might make it a little cheaper for us :confused3. Really don't want to stay offsite this trip.....

Good luck - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you finding something onsite x

Thanks. I'm still convinced there will be another deal to be had ;)

The current flash sale will finish next week, which means there's no discount on the rooms except the 25% offer for Autumn dates - book by end of April.

My thinking means that there will be another deal announced shortly after the flash sale. It will probably be another % off, or free nights/meals or something. Then when that ends - another flash sale.

I know it means waiting until the last minute to book - I was only looking for off site for the first night due to late flight times - with the intention of moving to HNY the following day. But if there is a deal to be had, I'd ideally stay on site the whole time.

I might be completely wrong of course and end up in a different hotel - but the last few years the pattern has been the same. I don't honestly mind where we go this time, as long as we get there :rotfl:

Hmmm, I like your thinking! :lmao:

I am happy to wait, my only issue is - don't the prices go up generally at DLRP at the end of March? Does this mean hotel rack rates will increase as well?

If I wait and don't get a deal, might I end up paying more on the standard rate then, as opposed to now?

Hope that makes sense....

Fingers crossed for us both - I really want to be onsite with the girls being small, it makes life easier! :thumbsup2

Very doubtful that the rack rate will increase - the prices are published in the brochure, so I don't think they'll change them.

Fingers and toes crossed :thumbsup2
