I got our multi-day non-hopper tickets from undercover tourist. They expire without use on Dec 31, 2018 or 14 days after first use.

What happens if:

1) We use it for a day and are unable to continue using it (family health). If we come back to Orlando in a year or two, will we be allowed to apply the remaining credit (is that calculable?) to current gate price tickets?

2) Tickets expire without use. If we come back to Orlando in a year or two, will we be allowed to apply the whole credit to current gate price tickets?

3) If I attach to my disney experience and we are unable to make the trip, is it essentially scenario #2 above or have they been marked as used somehow? What happens?

I have been very stressed with this trip planning due to DH and my health concerns so hoping to get some answers. I did read the entire page on mouse savers but was not clear and the only response I received from undercover was that unused tickets will be taken back within 365 days with 5% re-stocking fee.

Thank you!

1. No.

2. Yes.

3. Same as #2, they remain unused.

Looks like your choices are:

1. Go on your trip and use as many days as you can. At that point, the ticket is used and you forfeit any days not used in the 14-day window.

2. Keep tickets unused and then use them toward new tickets when your health is better. You will get the price you paid towards new tickets. This is true whether you put them in your MDE or not. Just make sure you hold onto the tickets and put them in a safe place.

3. Return the tickets now (or just before your 365 days) and lose 5% to the restock fee. If money is tight, this would be my choice even though I lose 5%.

For the Undercover Tourist Tickets, “unused” means the tickets were not linked to your My Disney Experience Account.

Leave the tickets as they are and return them for a refund if you cancel your plans.

The OP won’t need FPs if she’s planning to cancel her trip. She’ll be stuck with her tickets the moment she links them to MDE.

Thanks - I am not planning to cancel but it may happen. So I understand linking them to MDE closes the door to returning to UT. But do I still have the option of using them at DW in future even if I have obtained FPs but did not go to Orlando now?

Yes.
