Park tickets- Can I buy them later?

We would like to make our resort reservation this week for our stay in September, but we don't want to purchase any park tickets yet, reason being a family member works at Disney and can usually get us into the parks free but we won't know for sure until closer to our trip how many parks she can get us into. Anyways the point of my question is can we decide later on to add a park tickets to our reservation if we need to? Thanks!

You can purchase park admission at any time and link it to your MDE account. You may want to consider purchasing from an authorized third party seller like Undercover Tourist.

You can add tickets later but the only problem with waiting is you can't make FastPass without tickets

Would you know by the 60 day window on tickets whether they would be able to get you in? If you would know that soon out, I would definitely wait until two weeks before the 60 day mark. Prices shouldn't go up a second time in a year until I would say October. The last time that happened was a few years back.

You can add tickets to your package up until the day before check in. However, you can purchase tickets separately and link them to your account at any time. Hope this helps!
