I just wanted to share that we purchased our 7 day base tickets at the Disney Store at Square One today!!!! We got them at PAR!!!! We are only going to Disney for 5 nights, 6 days, and originally wanted 5 day park passes. However the store was sold out and only had the 7 days. The sales associate said that it was only a difference of $6 per ticket from a 5 day to 7 day, so we went with the 7 days! I had a package reserved with tics and resort, but I also changed it to a room only now.

Last year we waited until closer to our travel time to buy the tickets from the Disney Store but we were having a hard time getting them (sold out). So we took the plunge 7 months out this year and not taking any chances by buying so early.

So a tip to fellow Canadians, if you are close to a Disney Store, call and find out if they have the tics in stock and purchase them at par! Definitely worth it, especially with the dollar sitting at around 80cents!

will you share what you paid per ticket? They are priced in Canadian (so technically not at par).

If you check the Disney Website for park tickets, the final price of an adult 7 day base ticket (one theme park per day) is quoted at about $242 with taxes. I paid $242 Canadian including the Florida state tax (no GST/PST) at the Disney Store. Thus, par.

Good for you! We can't partake in this as we are planning on having the DDP so it doesn't work for us, but I think it's great that us Cdns still have the option to purchase something at par.

If you wanted to, depending on the tickets that you wanted to buy, you can get a package with the dining plan by just buying a one day pass for everyone. That one day pass, if not used of course, can then be saved and used later or upgraded later to another pass. We've done this a few times in the past when we wanted to get the dining plan but already had our AP's. I'm not sure if it would save money or not but it's a thought.

Just looked at the exchange and tickets @ $242 would be about $306 canadian that's about a $60 diffrence a one day ticket online is $75 USD so that plan doesn't save any money. As far as I can tell.:confused3
