Park/Ticket Question

I think I know the answer, but just want to verify in case I'm wrong.

I would like to see the Osborne Lights display the first day we arrive at WDW. However, we are arriving so late in the afternoon that we did not purchase park tickets for our arrival day.

Can we get in to see the lights with out a park ticket? I figure we can't but hoping I'm wrong.
