Just back with a quick review.

MNSSHP: Fantastic! Walked onto all the rides and into Mickey's Philharmagic show (which is the best WDW 3-D show ever)

Epcot: low crowds even on a Saturday. Mission space did not start up till 11am; got a fast pass when we arrived at 9am for 11:15 and then walked right onto the ride. Awesome! No nausea or dizziness at all.
Did not do any food and wine (ate set down meals, see reviews in other forum) Line were short. No beavertails

MGM: TOT our favorite ride. Drops change each time.

Disney quest: for two 40-something kids it was OK, spent 3 hour there. The roller coaster simulator was better than Space Mt. We made a #5 coaster with 10 unside down twists

princess: DH walked into the castle as Cinderella was coming out of the elevator and I took their picture and it is now on his desktop. Reminds me of the commercial with the bold guy, holding his stomach in waving at Cindy while his wife is away getting ice cream LOL

Thanks for the report! Sounds like you had a good time.:teeth: I'm very envious of your husband.::yes:: I've got a photo of me and Chef Mickey on my desk!

How easy was it for you to do the rides at the various parks (i.e. what were your longest waits)?
Did you do early entry?
Was it very hot? (Thinking about taking Grandma next year--does not do heat well:eek: !)

We were there the same days - we did Early Entry most days...

Our schedule:

Thursday: Epcot (afternoon we arrived) (the world - lines for F&W not bad)
Friday: AK - longest line was Kali - maybe 15 minutes?
Saturday: MGM - longest wait was ToT - it broke down as we waited, so that took ~1/2 hour total. (Lines were getting verry long for this one, since only 1 side is working)
Sunday: MK - again not too busy. Longest wait was ~15 minutes on Space Mountain. We also had about the same wait on Philharmagic (which was STUNNING!)
Monday: Epcot - longest wait was 15 minutes for Mission space.

The heat wasn't too bad - it was in the mid 80's most of the week. Monday it was very humid - showers started to come through as we drove to the airport.

weather was high 80's with a nice breeze. I can not tolerate hot weather due to health problems, but the humidity for FL was not bad at all.

We did not do any early entrys parks. We never waited for anything over 15 minutes. TOT both sides were working when we went on the 24th.

At Epcot the Ellen's Energy ride with the dinsoaurs broke down while we were riding it and DH got to get out and take pictures which is not allowed during the ride.

October is a great time to go to WDW

Thanks for posting. We leave in two days and the reports of huge crowds were discouraging me. I have never been at this time of year and had no idea what to expect.
