I am arriving after 2PM. Do I still need a park reservation on arrival day or because it is after hopping starts can I just go to any park? TIA

A Park Reservation is required for the first theme park you want to enter that day regardless of time. Once you enter the park you have a reservation for, you can hop to other parks starting at 2pm (subject to availability).
