In reading some of the threads, people have been mentioning problems with their tickets de-magnetizing or similar. Is there really a big problem with the tickets? Does the same problem occur if your room key is also your park ticket? I guess that I am confused (probably my normal state :) ) because I have multiple credit cards in my wallet all the time without a problem. Also, since my first WDW trip in 6 years is coming up and more importantly, my sister and her family will be making their first Disney trip at the same time as my trip, I just want to make sure that I give my sister the correct advice.

Thanks in advance!

I had problems with a certain purse - I used it for a May and December trip last year. What I learned have my 4th time getting a new ticket was that since the clasp of my purse was magnatized, it cause problems with my ticket (I had the paper ticket in May, and room key ticket in December). Once I stopped putting it in my purse, all was OK. To bad it took me until near the end of the second trip to learn this.

Getting it fixed was never a big deal. I just went to guest relations and ended up with a new ticket each time. The CM's generally let me in, but I wanted to new ticket so I could use the FP machines. It took about 10 min. total (waiting time and fixing time) each time.

Otherwise, I've never had a problem with a ticket, and I've learned to pick my Disney bags more carefully (zippers only).

I was just their last week .

In one of the watertight carriers ( both waterparks sell them I have a clear one.) I carried My PAP / DD PAP with mag strips in opposite direction. Then had both resort keys ,Visa ,DL,DD's KidIdent and cash and fastpasses when I had them .

So with all week of in and out I never had a problem .

DW had hers in one as well with some other cards and stuff.

DM hers in her front pocket of the Small Messenger bag in sleeve they give you.

DsF in his wallet with all his other junk in his Sleeve.

NO problems with any and we all carried cellphones in different areas .

Now I did have DM & DsF to not put their park passes on their resort keys .So if one went bad I could just get that one replaced. They didn't have charging privilages so all they needed their resort keys for was to get in and EMH.
