Park Pass entry time

we are going to HS for one day in Jan 2021 before a cruise (we booked long before COVID and are not convinced the cruise will actually happen) and are staying at WDW for 2 nights.

I booked our hotel-only last week but couldn't make it a package with just one day tickets (min is 2 day tickets for a package) so I had to wait until this morning to buy the one day tickets. Got those no problem and booked HS for the one day no problem. Here's the problem:

When I booked the park pass, it only gave one option for entry time: 10am to 8pm so that's what I selected but the confirmation screen popped up with a confirmed time of 11am to 9pm.

I double checked by going to My Plans in MDE and there it shows entry time of 10am but if I click Reservation Details right next to that, it shows entry time of 11am!

We're only going for one day - 11am is way too late to enter a park when we only have that one day. Park hours are not posted for Jan 2021 yet - I can only hope that as things adjust, our entry time can be adjusted to an earlier time

also park hours are officially only posted on the HUB (internal CM website) through end of October, I believe they might reevaluate opening times by then.
I'll close this one since we have a thread already opened on the park reservation system
