Park Nostalgia

I am not sure where this belongs so I tried here.

I have been reading these threads the last month and it can be a bit of a downer sometimes. I really wanted to find a way to start getting excited about my trip, so I had an idea.

I went and bought The Music of Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Epcot Center. Most of the songs are from the 8o's and 90's and various other decades.

My favorite is the Epcot songs. I remember back in the late 80's walking through Epcot and going on the rides hearing these songs. They were so catchy, I loved them and in fact I bought the cassette that year. Well I had lost it but when I found this I was ecstatic. I started listening it today and it really brought back the great memories I have had there and getting excited about the trip.

A flashback memory: How about at Epcot RD in the late 80's running to the Guest Relations in the Ball to make dining reservations instead of running to rides. Those were the days.

I don't have the nostalgia because I've only been going to WDW for about 10 years, but I do love listening to the park music when I need a boost!

I have been resorting to youtube videos. There are also some great documentaries and I love watching those too.

Listening to parks music and doing research always gets me excited for trips! Being a WDW history/trivia buff, I really wish I could have seen the parks back then...

The last time I was in the W D W was a day in EPCOT in 1992. I still have the lyrics "tomorrow's child" and "it's the LAND!" running through my head...can't wait until I can see how EPCOT has changed (first trip with my 3 kids in June).
