We will be at wdw for our disneymoon on January 6th-19th (2008) for (hopefully) 2 weeks. I know it's early, but I'm so excited I can't help but plan like crazy. I was wondering if you could help me with our park itineraries (which park, which order of days). Here is what I was thinking:
S6th - arrive in evening, move in, have dinner, relax, etc.
M7th - Magic Kingdom all day (will it be too busy due to it being a monday, and it is so close to the marathon, etc.?)
T8th - MGM all day (if time, and if up for it, hop back to MK)
W9th - Epcot all day
R10th - Animal Kingdom until close; possibly go back to another park or go to DTD
F11th - Typhoon Lagoon until close; possibly go back to another park or go to DTD (this day may change depending on weather, of course)
S12th - nothing planned; go back to a park, go to DTD, go to Boardwalk, hang out at pool, play mini-golf, see La Nouba, etc.
S13th - same; possibly move to Universal hotel
M14th - SeaWorld all day
T15th - Universal Studios all day; CityWalk
W16th - Islands of Adventure all day; possibly hop back to US; CityWalk
R17th - nothing planned; go back to SW, CW, etc.
F18th - Discovery Cove until closed; go back to SW, CW, etc.
S19th - leave for home in morning/afternoon
Some things may get changed around due to weather, and "nothing days" may get changed around if we're too tired. And it also depends on park hours, extra magic hours, etc.
What are your thoughts? Is this a good order? I tried to plan it in a way so that we would have plenty of time to go back to parks in case we missed things (which I know we will at MK and Epcot because we plan to take it slow in the parks, not rush from each attraction). And also, the way it sits now, we won't be in the parks on the weekends when it's busier. Do you think it is too much to do? We want to do everything we can because this is our first trip to the parks, and we aren't sure when we'll be back since there are so many other places we want to go on vacation.
Also, I have heard things about tour groups going around this time (cheerleaders, "rude Brazilian groups", etc. - sorry don't mean to offend). Does anyone know if groups like these are there early-mid january? And how will it affect our touring?
Sorry for such a long post, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!
