Good day! We are heading to Disney in June, the 11-18th. I’m torn on Park order. I loosely follow TP and we will have 1 non park day. I’m trying to position parks for best opportunity to obtain FP. Thoughts?

6/11 Arrival and Disney Springs
6/12 Epcot (TP has this as a 7)
6/13 Fort Wilderness fun
6/14 HS (TP says 6)
6/15 AK (TP says 6) but it is an EMH morning
6/16 MK (TP 6)
6/17 HS morning and MK evening (TP 6)

The later in the trip you can make HS and AK the better. You should be fine getting FOP on 60+4. SDD may not be available on your first HS day (or later in the evening) but you should have your pick of times on the last day.

Agree that you want AK and Hs at least 60+3 to increase your chances of getting the popular FPs.
Good luck'

I agree on this. I put my AK and HS days for my next trip on days 5 and 6, there were plenty of FPs available for the popular attractions.

Would you switch AK and MK? That would put me at 60+5 for FOP. I’m assuming that SDMT will be available at 60+4? Jun 15 is an EMH morning at AK and Jun 16 is an EMM at MK. If I switch I could avoid both, but is it necessary? I feel like I’m over thinking this. My goal is definitely a SDD FP which I think my chances are good at 60+6, but FOP is a must for my kids.

I don’t think you need to switch anything. You really shouldn’t have any trouble getting FOP at 60+4 unless you’re super picky about the time.

Ignore the TP numbers and focus only on getting the key FPs for the hardest-to-get attractions, like FOP, Slinky and Mine Train as early as possible in your day. Rope drop if you can to knock out some attractions early, then proceed with your FPs.

By getting your fastpasses done early, you can spend the rest of your park days adding FPs after your initial three. When the FPs slow down, go to shows or no-line fillers.

How you manage your fastpasses and park visit is what matters now. The standby lines are always long for everything, and who wants to wait when you can use FP)

Thanks for the advice. Would you suggest trying to book FP starting at 9:00, or RD and then start at 10:00? Also, I’m assuming we should start with HS at 60+6 and work my way back?

I would start at 9 a.m., but remember you don't have to be there to ride at the start of the FP window, and you have a 15 minute grace period.

If you are at a park at rope drop, you can still knock out a couple of attractions before you use your 9 a.m. FP by 10:15 a.m..

Another strategy is to ride early, then modify your other FPs to move them up, but that is too much work for me. I just use them early, then refresh-refresh-refresh to grab more.
