BF and I are going for 8 nights in December, it's never too early to plan!!! We based this on last year's park hours and show times. Just the two of us, no kids!

Day one: Arrive CR around 7pm, check-in then dinner at CA Grill overlooking MK and castle. No MK fireworks this day last year, but I'm hopping...

Day two: Full day at MK. Pre-open PS at Crystal Palace, tour park til 1pm or so, PS for Plaza Restaurant, break to hotel for nap/swim. Return for dinner PS at Tony's, tour park until time to get a spot for 10PM fireworks and 11PM Spectro.

Day three: Full day at Epcot. AM in FW, PS for lunch at San Angel Inn, tour WS. Dinner in WS (haven't picked where yet) and stake out spot for 7PM IllumiNations. No time for nap/swim break but it's okay because tomorrow it's a...

Day four: Full day of rest/recreation at hotel. Boardwalk or Hoop-de-doo Review for PM.

Day five: EMH for MGM, tour park all day, Fantasmic Dinner package. :wizard: Fantasmic starts at 7 so PS at 4:30. No time for rest at hotel, but it's a short day anyway after a full day's rest.

Day six: Richard Petty Rookie Experiance for BF, who's a HUGE Nascar fan:hyper:. Rest of day at hotel, DTD/PI for dinner/evening fun.

Day seven: Go to AK 1st thing, tour til 2pm or finnished. Nap/swim break at hotel. MVMCP for the evening!!!

Day eight: MK in the morning, and a possible lunch at CRT (no princess but I just want to eat in the castle!), return to hotel for rest if needed, then head to Epcot WS for more shoping/dinner and then IllumiNations to end our last park day.

Day nine: Sleep in or PS/Room service for breakfast, leave CR around 11am for 1:30 return flight.

Day ten: Start planning next WDW trip!!!:teeth:

Sounds good to me! Seems like you have all the bases "covered" without overscheduling!

Enjoy! We're staying at the CR, too, in Sept.

It looks good, but you may want to keep an eye on the EMH days and adjust your schedule to take advantage of this if you're going later in December.

What kind of tickets are you getting. Based on this schedule I wouldn't get UPHs since days 1, 4, 6 and 9 are non park days. Looks like you could get by with a 5 day PHP. However, I'd recomend a 6 day PHP because you may want to squeeze in an extra park day. I'm assuming the two of you are yound, so I don't think you need 2 rest days (Days 4 and 6). You could go to a park on one of those days, or you could do a water park, or go to Universal.

Looks like a nice, relaxing trip though.

have fun.

Looks pretty solid to me. An option to consider for Illuminations is a cruise so that you can see it from the lake. We went really fancy last time and took The Breathless (from the Yacht Club dock). It was a lot of fun...very romantic. Also, smart move to get the Fantasmic dinner package...we did and it was worth it.

Have fun!

Yes, all of this is based on park hours, show times, and EMH days for Dec. 03, so I'm aware all of this is subject to change. But with the exception of the Richard Petty Experiance, it's easy to take day 2 and interchange it with, say, day 7, or make any other modifications. It may also depend on availability of PS's.

We're either getting the 7 day PHP, or an AP. We may go back again w/in 12 months so the AP would make sense. I know we could do a 5 or 6 day PHP, but I'd rather have the 7th day in case our plans change, and they don't expire so we can use them in the future.

We are young, (28 and 32) but I want the 1st full day of rest because BF has never done full-day touring in a theme park of any kind, and our 1st two days are nothing but! The second "rest" day isn't really going to be restfull. I'm not sure how long the RP experiance will be or when we'll be back at the hotel, but I'm sure BF will be worn out with all the excitement. If not, we can always to to MK for the afternoon. By leaving it open, I won't be stressed over missing an afternoon of activities if RP goes long or BF is wiped out completely.

I've always wanted to do a nice, slow, lesiurely trip to WDW, and I'm finnaly getting one!

Thanks for the feedback so far!

Hi !

Where did you get the park hours and schedules for December 2003? DH and I are going for 4 days in December and I'd love to step up the planning!

Thanks.

In that case I think things look great. You can never go wrong with buying a ticket that gives you more days than you'll use--it's a great incentive to go back:bounce: .

Since DBF has never been before I have a few other suggestions: Take him to PI one night, go see Cirque, and (possibly) go to DQ. You have plenty of time in your schedule to fit these in without making things too hectic.

Oh, one more thing. If you break up with BF before the trip, can you take ME!!:p . All right, it was a bad joke, but I really need to figure out how to convince DW to take another Disney trip soon.

You have put a lot of work into this Plan!

Of course, you will be watching for changes!

I hope! ..............

No, I know you will be watching and modifying!

You are a planner after my own heart!

May your trip be covered in pixie dust........

MVMCP is not over till 12 Midnight......

By the time you exit and get back to your room it will be 1 or 2 AM

............????????????..................

OLT2004, thanks for the good wishes and pixie dust!! Yes I am a planner!!!

I know MVMCP is done at 12 midnight, but I built some nap time in earlier that day, and we don't have to get up the next day at the crack of dawn if we don't want to. And we don't have to stay untill mid-night, although I'm sure we will! And we're staying at the CR, so hopfully we'll be back at the room by 1 and not 2!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. It looked good to me but I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something.

Now I just need to pick the restaurants (some of the ones I have listed aren't final) and wait for the 90 days to make the PS's.
