Park Inn on Harbor Boulevard?

Park Inn International....has anyone who has stayed there used the pool? I specifically chose this hotel over Desert Inn and Suites because it has an outside pool and we are going in the summer. I have just read on another board that the pool is 3 feet deep....don't know how my water loving kids will feel about this.

Can someone please let me know.......3 feet seems a little shallow doesnt it?

A few months ago we made our reservations for our upcoming trip to CA, and as I recall, I heard or read something similar. We ended up making reservations at the Residence Inn, since they have 3 room suites that would easily accomodate the 6 of us. I wish I could remember where I saw or heard that, but I can't. Have you tried calling the hotel to ask?

It is a shallow pool but I am pretty sure it gets deeper then 3ft. My children were able to swim and have fun in the pool (even though it was November). The pool is also relatiely small but so are most the hotel pools in the area.
