Park hours in December

Trying to plan ADRs for Dec and going to spend one day at Island of Adventure. Any experience with what time the park might close on Friday Dec. 16th? Planning on going back to Disney for dinner.

The hours are usually 9-7 during mid-December...at least they were last year.

Thanks! Any idea when Universal will release their park hours for December? It looks like now on their site they don't go past September.

And is there a link or site by chance to find last year's December calendar? I can easily find park hours for Disney last year but am having a hard time finding any info. for Universal.

The hours should be up by early September...plenty of time to plan what you want to do...early just not Disney early. The problem is...with the popularity of HP the hours can change based on what the crowds are doing so Universal is waiting a bit longer to post hours.

Thanks - it makes it difficult when planning ADRs 180 days out to not know what time the park will close.... guess I will plan or a later dinner rather than early. I read somewhere that sometimes the park will close at 5pm in December.... but since it is a Friday I will plan on around 7pm. Thanks!!

You don't make ADRs at Universal.

Referring to making ADRs for Disney at the 180 day mark..... Only going to US for the day and headed back to Disney for dinner. That is why I am interested in US park hours so I can make ADR in June for a Dec trip. Thanks for your help.... If hours for US aren't released until Sept then I will plan on a late dinner to be safe
