park hours and cinematic spectacular.

I hate to look lazy, I have really tried to research this on my own.. but I'm trying to find out the hours for our trip.. last I looked from aug 20, for 3 nights, both parks closed at 8 pm.

now I looked and it had the studios closing at 9 on aug. 20, and closing early aug 21 at 6 pm.

anyone know why the studios close early that night? and if there is the cnematic spectacular showing any of these 3 nights? (It would seem maybe on the 20th, since the park is open till 9 that night.?)

Park hours always start to cut back around August 20
Attendance slows down around that time period

I saw studios closes earlier on that Sunday
Maybe a buy out that night ?

Cinema show happens after the park closes
If the park closes at 8, then The show starts soon after that time

yeah, that's what I thought, but I thought it would be too light out at 8 . I know we're right at that "cutoff" point for the show.

I just had a look at closing times for US - 8/20 9:00 PM, 8/21 6:00pm (private event maybe?) and 8/22 8:30 PM.
Sunset in Orlando is 7:59 on 8/20 and gets about 1 min earlier each night after that.
So, thinking you should be fine to see the show on 8/20 or 8/22 - though I don't see confirmation anywhere that it happens both those nights.
My family arrives on 8/24 so we're in nearly the same park close/sunset watching window
