Park hours and ADR time

I have a reservation at Jungle Skipper Canteen at 6:30pm on Sunday Dec 15, but that is a Christmas party night so MK closes at 6. We have done the Xmas party before and I think I remember CMs outside the hub checking that u had a wristband on, but since we won’t have wristbands....Will this be a problem? Will they let me back to the restaurant if I show them my confirmation number for the restaurant reservation? Or do I have to hang in that part of the park from 6-6:30? I wasn’t planning to be in that part of the park until our reservation time.

At 6:01, you're not supposed to be allowed into lines for any other attractions and you may not be let into stores either. They will be attempting to get all non-party guests to the entrance. They will still let you get back to where Skipper is, but may ask to scan your band to access your ADR. You're supposed to check in 15 min before your ADR anyway, so heading that way at 6:00 isn't that much earlier.

I'm surprised you were able to make an ADR that late. I thought they only let people without party tickets to book ADRs before 5:00

Check your dining reservation. Make sure there isn't a note, stating that you need a special event ticket. The park closes at 6 on pArty nights, so technically you are trying to have dinner "after park closure". Honestly, I'm surprised you got that reservation, unless you booked it as needing "a special ticket" and are trying to circumvent the rules!!!

Actually, Skipper Canteen is one of the restaurants that does allow later ADRs on party nights. They aren't open during the party, so they go later.

I definitely am not trying to circumvent any rules! And there is no note that indicates that there is a special ticket required, but now I am getting even more nervous that this will be a problem. I do realize that it is after park closure, which is why I created the thread, but I didn't think I would have been allowed to make an ADR after park closure. (but there it is.... i do have an adr after park closure with no special note that I need a party ticket)

Your ADR is fine. Skipper Canteen is one of the restaurants that allows non-party guests to dine after official park close. You may be escorted out of the park after dinner, but you will be allowed to eat.
