Park hopping between Disney and Universal

For those that have both Disney AP and Universal APs, or 5 day passes for both - does anyone parkhop by visiting both parks the same days? Is one better in the morning, one better at night?

or is it always better to just stay at one or the other all day?

Definitely park hop, but by the Howartz express. We tend to stick to Islands as we are not huge simulator fans and that is really he strong suit in Universal. But Hogwartz Express is a really fun ride if you are a fan of the movies/books.

I've park hopped between Disney and Universal in one day. It's fun.

One isn't better than other morning or night - both have their good points. On the day I plan to hop I look at with resort is open latest and choose that one for night.

If you mean hop between WDW and Unuversal, that's a lot of time and extra parking expense. We're too old now to even consider it.

If you mean hop at WDW (4 parks), or at Universal (2 parks), then yes, easily doable and I like to hop based on how late parks stay open.

If you are talking about going to a Disney park and a Universal park in the same day, yes I have. It can be tiring, time consuming. In my opinion, group the Disney with other disney parks and Universal with Universal parks.

Just remember with Disney these days you can't park hop to another Disney park until after 2. Universal park hop whenever you want
