Park Hopping and FP+ strategy

I will be at WDW next week and on one of my days I was going to start at DHS, going there first thing in the morning for maybe 2-3 hours then hopping over to MK for the rest of the day. Right now I have 3 FP's for DHS. But since I plan to go there first thing and only do a few attractions, I am contemplating ditching those in favor of MK FP's for later in the day instead (assuming they are available).

My question: If I don't use ANY of my DHS FP's that day will I be able to reserve FPs for another park using MDE on my phone, or will my only option be to use the park kiosk to reserve FPs one at a time? I'm not talking about canceling and changing these ahead of time, I'm talking about doing it the day they are scheduled, but without having used a single of one of them at DHS (the first park I'm headed to). I am thinking I can re-do it all on my phone rather at the kiosks but I'm not sure if that's correct.

Yes, you can do it from MDE on your phone.

Go to Modify and Select the Guests > Select a New Park and all available attractions will appear.

That's a very good strategy. If you get there at rope drop, DHS is usually doable via stand-by with some waits (notably Toy Story). When I'm park hopping like that (DHS, then to MK, for example), I almost always reserve FP+ for the later park. This guarantees you some premium attractions during a busy time in the middle of the day when standing in line can be exhausting.
