Park Hoppers

I just booked a package for January 2021 and was given the option of purchasing park hoppers. Since that is my preference, I purchased the option. Upon completing my reservations and paying my deposit, I was given the option to make my park reservations for the days I am booked. I did this as well, but I am confused. If they are not going to allow park hopping, why is that an option when booking? Wondering if anyone has any insight into this.

Disney seem to be keen to reintroduce the park hopper as soon as they possibly can. Hopefully by 2021 we will see it return

I'm hoping it's in time for Thanksgiving as we arrive the weekend after. But not holding my breath.

I think they are currently not allowing park hopping. but once they do, I think they will adjust how it is done.

But until then, they will keep it as one park per day.

that’s my question also. I came here hoping someone knew more than me. I booked trips for several people today and left it off the reservations because I don’t know if it’s a thing or not. I can’t find it in any information I have. My theory was we could always add it later.

When I spoke to IT last night to finish my reservations, she asked me if I knew what the options were for my current park hopper tickets. I told her that I was going to hold on to them until the day I check in and then see about getting that difference refunded to me and she said that they should have park hopping up by then. She was the one to tell me to not cancel it. So we shall wait and see.

I have a theory - I think that they are still having you reserve a park to get an idea of morning numbers as people tend to go to the parks in the mornings
