Park hopper tickets and going between Disney and Non Disney Resort

Hi...

Just wondering if this will work. I'm staying at the Polynesian for 3 nights then switching over to Shades of Green for 7 nights. If I buy a 10 day park hopper ticket, will they put it on my key card at the Polynesian, and then put the remaining days on my SOG key when I switch to that resort. I've never stayed at SOG before, and I've never switched resorts. I can see how this would easily work between Disney resorts. I'm just not sure how it works when going from a Disney to a technically non-Disney resort.

Thanks for any info. I've been scratching my head about this one, and knew someone here would know the answer.

No, I'm relatively certain they can't do that. Shades of Green sells tickets, yes, but as a non-Disney resort they don't have access to Disney's technology. You can just use your Poly room key as your park tickets for your entire stay.

Great question, so can I check that I have got this right, we are going for 3 wks and have purchased 3 wk ultimate hopper (UK ticket), if we ask to have it on our room key at CSR for week one, then we go off-site for a week, then final week at GF we will be able to use our CSR room key for the entire three weeks for entrance to parks?

Yes you COULD do that..

Or..

Week 1 - CSR - Tickets on CSR Room Key
Week 2 - Offsite - Tickets still on CSR Room Key
Week 3 - GFlor - Tickets transferred to the GF Room key from the CSR key.

The UK Ultimate Tickets (of any length) cannot be put on any KTTW card. It is one of the restricted tickets that cannot be endcoded.
