Park hopper question

I have a question. I have on day left on a park hopper. Is it cheaper to use the one day left and buy a 6 day hopper or would it be better to upgrade it to a 7 day hopper.

I think it would be cheaper to just get the 6-day park hopper as the credit you would get for the one day you have left would be based on what you originally paid for it (which was probably less than what current pricing is).

Chances are it will be cheaper to buy the 6-day pass. When you upgrade, you only get a prorated share of the ORIGINAL purchase price as credit toward your new pass.

Also, if you bought the pass from a vendor other than Disney, you won't even get the full prorated amount. Instead you'll get a prorated share of the amount that the third-party vendor actually paid Disney for the pass.
