Park days available??

We are going to have to give away our grand California reservation next weekend. Friends want to know if there are park day reservations available for resort guests. I can’t see how to check unless I buy tickets. Does anyone know?

I think there are almost always openings for hotel guests. It seems rare to find it completely booked- right now the only completely booked dates are tomorrow and this coming Wednesday.

Thank you. They don’t want to go if they can’t get into parks or if it will be too crowded because holiday.
