Park by Park, in what order to do these rides/attractions?

Here is our list of must-do attractions and rides that we want to do in each park. As you can see, the list itself is not very long (We were there 4 years ago, DH and DSs don't want to repeat many of the things we did last time, and I agree).

Please list them in the order in which you'd do them during the course of a day. We plan on doing half-days at each park; in other words, start the morning out in one park, stay for lunch, go back to our resort, then head to a different park that evening for dinner and stay late. Thanks! :) (FP) means that particular ride has Fast Pass :)

Magic Kingdom
Pirates of the Caribbean (FP)
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (FP)
Hall of Presidents
Haunted Mansion (FP)
Mickey's Philharmagic (FP)
Buzz Lightyear (FP)
Space Mountain (FP)

EPCOT
Spaceship Earth
Living with the Land (FP)
Soarin' (FP)
Honey I Shrunk the Audience (FP)
Test Track (FP)
Body Wars

MGM
Who Wants to be a Millionaire (FP)
Great Movie Ride
Star Tours (FP)
RockinRollercoaster (FP)

Animal Kingdom
It's Tough to be a Bug (FP)
Kilimanjaro Safari (FP)
Dinosaur (FP)

Lets see.. if this were me.. I would do this order...

Magic Kingdom ( we like to go to the left when we get there. I think people head to Fantasy Land and Space Mountain before going to Splash )

I would head back to Big Thunder Mtn and check the line. If there is a wait, get a FP and head back to POC ( and I dont believe they have FP for that). After doing POC, and then using FP for BTMR, ( Id do splash if the line is short while you are over there) Take the train and head over to Toon town and walk the back path over to Space Mtn. Get a FP for Space, check the line for Buzz. Id wait for Buzz, then use FP for Space. If you dont want to wait in line for buzz.. ride the people mover thing in tomorrowland.. or get a bite to eat. After tomorrowland, head over to Philharmagic, then HM, then Hall of presidents. I dont know when you are going or what the crowds will be like, but if you have a long wait for Philharmagic, or HM, you could do Presidents while you are waiting for your FP for either of these rides.

Epcot...
The Land is closed right now, and Body Wars is closed down.

I would head straight to TT and get a fast pass. Even in value season when we go, there is a long line, and the fast passes run out!! Get your TT FP first. Check on Spaceship earths time on the big board by the fountain. If there is a long wait, do it on your way out. There are so many other things you can do while you wait for your FP time at TT. Id head over to Soaring and HISTaudience after that. Wait.. if soaring is officially open, go there FIRST for a Fast Pass.. Everyone will be going there since it is brand new. If you are going before May 5th, get the TT one first, and after you are done there, go to Soaring and ask about a soft opening that day. Do HISTA. If you have no desire to walk around World Showcase, then hit Spaceship Earth on your way out of the park.

MGM...

Get your RnRcoaster FP First..
You need to check the Millionaire times for the shows
I dont think it matters the order you do Movie Ride and Star Tours. If its crowded, get the ST fast pass and then go do Movie RIde while you wait. If there is no like for Movie Ride, do that first, then head to ST.

Animal Kingdom...

Definately head to the Safari for the FP first. Then do Bugs Life, and then Dinosaur.

I notice you don't have the new Stitch attraction, the revamped Small World or Mission Space on your list ....did you mean to ommit these? They are some of the first things we plan to do!

Thanks! I probably should've mentioned that we're arriving on July 5th. We'll have 4 full days plus from noon on, on our arrival day, and up until 5pm on our departure day, so that's almost 6 days. We're definitely not the "commando" type, and for part of each of the 4 full days, DS17 and DS14 will be on their own, heading to Disney Quest with their passes. :)

Regarding Stitch, no one in my family has an interest in that one. As for Mission:Space my DS17 may choose to do that one on his own. LOL And It's a Small World...What are they doing new to that one? I honestly don't think I could bribe my DH and DSs to do that ride again. :teeth:

Do you all think our list of rides/attractions is "do-able" for the amount of time we'll be there? Our last trip was in May of 2001 with LOW crowds. I don't want to overplan for this trip because it'll be the week of July 4th and HOT.

Here's my itinerary so far:

Tues. July 5th
Arrive at Wilderness Lodge concierge around 1pm
Lunch at Whispering Canyon

Explore the resort, maybe swim.

Head to MK for dinner at the castle, spend the rest of the night at MK, staying for WISHES.

Wed. July 6th
Breakfast in concierge lounge

Go to Epcot
Do as many Epcot attractions as possible until:
Lunch at Teppanyaki

After lunch, DSs go on their own to DisneyQuest
DH and I head back to WL to swim, relax

Dinner back at Epcot, Garden Grill
Stay at Epcot until closing and IllumiNations.

Thurs. July 7th
Breakfast at concierge lounge
(checking out of Wilderness Lodge, then checking in at Polynesian concierge)

MGM Studios for lunch at Sci-Fi, do some attractions at MGM

Head back to the Polynesian, relax, swim, enjoy the resort. DSs can go to DisneyQuest, resort, swim, or explore on their own.

Dinner at Kona Cafe, no plans set for this evening, whatever we feel like doing, maybe watch Electric Water Parade from our balcony :) (We've NEVER seen the EWP at all, so might specifically plan to see this).

Fri. July 8th
OUR ANNIVERSARY
Breakfast at the concierge lounge

Maybe head to Animal Kingdom??
Lunch??

Afternoon, back to Polynesian to swim, relax. Maybe back to MK to hit some rides/attractions that we didn't do yet. DSs on their own. (DSs can hang with us any time they want of course. LOL But they're looking forward to some afternoons on their own, too).

Dinner at 'Ohana!! Including the surprise (surprise for DH) wedding cake I've ordered from the Grand Floridian Bakery! Polynesian concierge will present the cake to us after dinner, at 'Ohana.

No plans for after dinner yet. Maybe head to MGM to watch the late showing of Fantasmic!

Sat. July 9th
Breakfast at concierge lounge
Morning: ??
Lunch at MGM 50's Prime Time Cafe
Afternoon:??
Dinner: Boma (??)
DH and I go to Downtown Disney to shop.

Sun. July 10th
Breakfast at concierge lounge

No plans for morning yet, we'll go to whichever park we still have things to do still.

Late lunch: Kona Cafe

5pm: Limo picking us up to take us back to the airport :sad2:

Sounds a lot like our itinerary, we are taking 13 and 14-year-olds. My DS(14) went four years ago, DNephew(13) has never been. I think you can do it with you schedule. We have a few more "musts" in addition to your list:

MK
Splash Mountain
Stitch's Great Escape!
EP
Mission:Space
El Rio del Tiempo
Maelstrom
MGM
Tower of Terror
AK
Kali River Rapids

Typhoon Lagoon

I'll just comment on the first two.

Magic Kingdom

1. Mickey's Philharmagic (FP) ... I always start in Fantasyland. The theater accommodates a lot of people so wouldn't waste a FP here

2. Pirates of the Caribbean (FP)
3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (FP)
4. Pick up the FP for Haunted Mansion
5. Hall of Presidents
6. Ride Haunted Mansion (FP)
7. Buzz Lightyear (FP)
8. Space Mountain (FP)
EPCOT

1. Pick up FP for Test Track (FP)
2. Ride Spaceship Earth (also has FP)
3. Body Wars
4. Ride Test Track
5. Pick up Soarin' fastpass
6. Living with the Land (FP) (don't bother with FP, this line moves quickly)
7. Ride Soarin' (FP)
8. Honey I Shrunk the Audience (FP)

DS13 just said "we're heading to the mountains first!"

have fun! :Pinkbounc

MK
Don't waste time on stitch its terrible. I can't imagine anyone thinking its good. Haunted mansion never needs a fastpass its almost always 13 minute wait. same with pirates and some others. If you don't need one don't get one. You ablsolutly have to go on splash mountain its a classic.

EPCOT
go on spaceship earth last. Its the first thing everyone goes on when they enter the park so its always crowded early in the day, by the end its empty.

everything else is fine Have Fun!
