Park Bag ...

What do you stick in it??
Obviously for my seriously pale children we need to have sunblock. Phone, camera, and ponchos. What else should I plan to stash in there?

I bring a big pack of those drink mix sleeves so that when we get tired of plain old water in the parks we can jazz it up for pennies a bottle. I also usually stick a snack bar for each of us in there. Sometimes you just are starving and having something handy is a big save.

In addition to what you've already listed, I also have to have some lip balm with SPF and a handful of Wet Ones hand wipes (they always come in handy).

This will be our first trip but here is my park bag list so far:

Bag 1 (will stay in stroller):
pull ups
wipes
sunblock
some snacks
drink packets


Bag 2 (will be carried on attractions with us):
cameras
phones
passes (tickets and fast passes)
ponchos
first aid kit (mini-one)
money
ds's epi-pen
one pull up and tiny pack of wipes (just in case)



so far that's what I have but I am sure the list will get bigger

We usually have a roll of quarters and pennies in an M&M tube for pressed pennies. You may want to consider an autograph book. Less is more! At the end of the day, if you are carrying the stuff around, you will be tired.

I am not sure what the ages of your kids are, but we have found it useful for the little ones to have a change of clothes (its amazing just what a determined 2 year old can do!)

A couple of zippy bags to put things in for wet rides, also to put wet things in incase of accidents

I love the backpack coolers. It keeps my water cold. In most there are other pockets and sections. I also carry disposable pochos, wet one , small umbrellas, camera and tissues.

a change of clothes is a good idea .. especially since mine will certainly be in some sort messiness ..

My kids love to do the pennies!! that is an awesome tip. We will be doing the autograph book(s) I have been on the look out for a plain one I can decorate.

1st aide kit is a must havei n my family ..... we are accident prone!

You may want to pack a snack and also a bottle of water. Food and drink can be expensive in the park. ALso don't forget a map of the park and a time table of the parades and shows.
