I've spent most of the morning trying to work out what tickets we should buy for our trip in August. We will be in Orlando for 4 weeks hiring a villa. There are 7 of us ie. 5 adults (since our eldest DGd will be 11) - one child (age 6) and an 18 month old.

WDW - we'll probably opt for 14 day ultimate - but would it be worthwhile for one of us to get an AP? Our party will have 2 cars but expect that free parking on the AP would only be allowed for one of those? Would the other benefits be worth upgrading for.

We'd also like to do

US - we are hoping to book an overnight stay in a Universal Hotel
IOA
Sea World
Busch Gardens

is our best option for these an Orlando flexipass?

and also an airboat ride (Everglades?) - we could probably book this when we arrive???

I have spent ages looking at different ticket suppliers and scribbling down prices - durations etc on bits of paper but still don't know what to do for the best...and which is the best value. Don't think we'd want to spend more than one day at each of the parks...apart from Disney...so just wondered if single tickets would be better.....if anybody has done something similar I'd love to hear how it worked out...but ANY advice, comments or opinions would be very welcome. :confused3

thankyou...

The 14 day ultimates expire 14 days after you first use them as they will only cover a 2 week period in your holiday.

If you got AP's you could come and go for the whole 4 weeks whenever you wanted to the Disney parks. You would then get free parking for both cars. You can get a shopping discount at World of Disney at Downtown Disney plus some small dining discounts. You can also get discounts on mini golf and water park entry.

With the other parks you would need the flex ticket plus which is valid for 14 consecutive days. You may want to price them seperatly and compare but remember the $99 universal offer expires this weekend. Their prices are then jumping!

thankyou.

do you know if I can get AP tickets before we go or do we buy them there.

also what is the cost per adult and child...

You can buy AP's before you go and they will send you vouchers to exchange once you get there so you might as well buy them once you get there unless you are going in August when you might want to buy ahead of time as they usually have a price the first weekend in August. Check the boards it will be on here before they go up.

Current price for AP is $520.79 Adult (10+), $460.08 Child (3-9).

If you have a look here you can see the different prices for the other options. If you are looking to going to both the waters parks and Disney quest you might want to look at the premuim AP (you need at least 4 visits to make it worth it). If you are just looking at the water parks you could get a water park AP plus a regular AP for less than the premium AP but again you will need at least 3 water park visits to make to it worth while.
