How bad do the crowds really get over MLK weekend? We were originally planning to be gone the Wed or Thu before it, but it looks like our plans are going to have to change so it will fall right in the middle of the trip. Do crowds just pick up Sat, Sun and Mon, or does it start Fri? Thanks so much for your help. :)

The crowds aren't non-existent prior to the weekend, but they're pretty manageable. We had a couple of days where late afternoon stand-by waits on, say, BTMRR, were about 50-60 minutes, which isn't bad, but still a wait, eh?

When we were there in 2005, they were really bad (relatively speaking), Sat - Mon. I don't know about Friday before, but do know that Tuesday they fell off completely. If you have even a couple days after MLK day, you can just do the best you can over the weekend, and have the days after to hit everything you missed.

We were there over MLK weekend last January (7th-17th). Crowds were heavier beginning on Saturday through Monday, but it wasn't nearly as bad as we were expecting. It didn't affect our touring plan at all (arrive close to opening and utilize fast pass). Don't sweat it! :)

We were there that weekend in 05 and found the crowds to be VERY low actually. We didn't wait in lines at all.
