I have a question on if park closes for being at capacity for the 24 hour event in May I will be there and have dinner reservations at be our guest . So could I be turned away if park is at capacity or will they let me in anyway since I have the dinner res. thanks for anyone with info on that

I think you will be turned away. Perhaps someone law knows for sure, but I have heard that is a risk to hopping and dinner reservations at a busy time of year.

If they reach stage 4 closing, no one will be admitted into the park. Any other level of stage closing would allow you in because of the ADR.

Closing stages:

Not listed in the above link is a stage 0 closing. Stage 0 closes the parking lot to any additional vehicles and you are directed to a park at a different park. You can use Disney transportation to get back to the park you want to enter.

It it hits a Stage 4 closure you will be turned away and charged the no show fee for your meal.

You would have to hit a Phase 4 closure in order for you to be turned away.

However, I've been there before on NYE and 4th of July and haven't seen a Phase 4 (the highest I've seen is a Phase 3). Not saying it doesn't happen, because it does, but I think it's very unlikely that the 24 hour party would cause a Phase 4. You really need a ton of people in the park for that. The 24 hour event will draw in a lot of guests, but I don't think it'll have the same level as those two days.
