Park access question

This is probably a stupid question but...if you go to the parks the day you check-in or the day you check-out, does that count as one of your days in the park? I've read about people going to the parks for half a day and that seems like a waste of a ticket!

If you enter a park at any time during a day, that counts as a day on your ticket. It has nothing to do with check-in or check-out at a hotel.

If you are staying onsite, then a half-day is lots of time in the park, given you have unlimited Universal Express privileges.

Yes, but you can re-enter as much as you want during that day. If you have 2-park access, you can park-hop as much as you want during that day. This is very useful for days when the parks have long hours. Example: park hours 9-9. Go to IOA and play from 9-2. Go back to hotel and use pool/nap. Go to USF (or back to IOA, w/e) 4-9. That only counts as one "day". :cool2:
