women beat in beach volleyball 2 sets to 1 and advance to the quarter finals. What a great match by both teams.

Just watched the men's gymnastics all around and oof feel so bad for some of those errors the athletes made, saw some really amazing routines though. The rings look so difficult just holding that position for so long. The floor routines interest me because the skills are different than the women's but they still get some really good air and flips in there.

I HATE this commercial. Forget the Google AI stuff, I think this one enbodies the epitome of poor sportsmanship and is not at all in the Olympic spirit.

I agree and I wish they would take the ad down and make a new one. We host the 2026 world cup and Nike is a team usa sponsor. I cringe at what they will come up with ad wise.

I like it too, we're days behind but I liked it last Olympics. Just a different kind of sport to watch. The speed climbing is wicked fast

Track question... I seem to remember each lap of the track being referred to as 1/4 mile OR 400m. Meaning four laps would be a mile or 1600m. Did they always have 1500m races?

Kayak Cross rules too! I've watched some of that before, but not the climbing. Speed Climbing is amazing - they shoot up the wall like Spider-Man!

I am watching the Bouldering now and it's not really as exciting. It's interesting because it's very cerebral. They say a lot of these guys study engineering.

We tried finding speed climbing and ended up watching bouldering and I did not enjoy it, very boring. I don't know why we can't see speed climbing on a replay on the peacock app, but it was not there. I will try again later.

I caught the Speed Climbing live, but I have bouldering on replay. I am only half paying attention to it since I am working, but it is honestly not as exciting. There are some cool moments, but it seems that a lot of it is brushing on chalk with a stick!

This Bouldering that I am watching was only 4 hours ago (before the Speed Climbing). I finally saw someone make it to the top!
