Though I have NOTHING against the porn industry, there's a world of difference between being a Playmate and being a porn star.

I don't have any daughters, but if I did, I wouldn't be nearly as upset with my daughter being in Playboy as I would if she starred in the next Debbie Does Dallas movie.

True, but it's still not a career most parents would choose. And it's not just still photos- playmates have to do videos as well. Not porn, but damn close IMO. A naked girl rubbing herself up against a sofa is not family fare. Oh wait, in my family it is

Being supportive of your child is one thing, but to encourage and enable and support her being used in such a manner? What parent would want something like that for their daughter? Anyone on here want their daughter to become a porn star? Want her to sleep with hundrends of men for money so that the whole world can watch? I thought we were supposed to teach our daughters self respect not how to spread her legs for a buck or two.

If my daughter did something like this I would not only not support her I would do everything I could to get her out of it and I'm sure most of us on here would do the same. Of course, I like to think that I will be raising my daughter to be a bit more respectful of herself.
