Parent spinoff thread: “I’m just like my dad/mom” moment?

I’m curious for those who have kids, what was your random “I’m just like my dad/mom” moment? Was there a parent freak out moment that you never thought your kids would cause you (and your parents telling you “told you so” in the back of your mind)?

When I was a teen my mother would get upset at something and say "I swear you do this JUST to make more work for me!" (if I'd left my things lying around or hadn't done a chore to her satisfaction). I remember internally rolling my eyes and thinking "Sure, mom. I have nothing better to do than think of ways to make more work for you. Geesh!"

I don't think I've actually *said* to to my kids, but I've had to bite my tongue to prevent myself. I've definitely THOUGHT it.

Sticky notes all around my house. My mom had list, random notes, and reminders for us kids on yellow sticky notes. My sticky notes are blue and pink, but I do the same thing.

When I look at my hands-I see my mother’s hands…without, alas, the talents that hers had…

As much as I my mom, our parenting skills are nothing alike.

One thing that comes to mind is touching the walls - my mom would always be telling us to not touch the walls and now I do the same thing - as soon as I would see my girls or DH touching the walls I just say - Walls!
