I ordered 2, 5-Day PHP passes from Paramount today. I tried calling the 800 first, but after a few tries of not being able to get thru, I decided to order the passes online. After going thru all the screens and giving my credit card #, I got a final page saying that I had to fax in a printed and signed order form, AND send them copies of both sides of my credit card. I order a lot of stuff online and have never been asked to fax anything before. Has anyone else had to do this?

I ordered 7 day passes over the phone - Rosa explained that she would send me an e-mail receipt with a place for me to sign (authorizing the charge to my cc) and I would need to fax that back to her. When I received the e-mail it also asked for copies front and back of my cc - since I didn't have a way to make copies without going to the office that day, I just faxed the copy of the e-mail receipt with my signature. Got another e-mail from PI the next day saying my purchase was approved and my tickets arrived a few days later. I thought this was very odd, too, but had read other posts that this is their policy - guess they are trying to protect themselves in some way from unauthorized purchases. I found their service to be quick and professional - the free breakfast vouchers with the 6 and 7 day tickets were a great incentive to buy from them.

We also had a positive experience with Paramount and yes, they do require copies of your credit card. Their service was quick and professional and our passes/breakfast vouchers worked perfectly.

I think it is a wonderful idea to get a copy of both sides of the charge card. It is an extra safety feature. To protect both them and you. I once had a $500 charge on my card for 2 prs of shoes that someone ordered via phone and sent to somewhere in NY. The slip when I final had it looked into said "Charge card on file." They did not have any proof that I did in fact give my charge card number, it took me a long time to credit my account. They kept saying I gave them my numbers via the phone. If they had ask for copies of both sides of the charge card this purchase would not have been made.

Paramount just wants to protect themselves from someone who has only your charge card numbers. They want to make sure you have the physical card.

We bought 3 7day PHP from Paramount in June. When I expressed my reluctance to fax copies of my credit card, Rosa?? said I could blacken out the number on the credit card.

That made me feel better :)

And we were very please with their service--great price, fast shipping, free vouchers, and they included photo copies of the PHPs which saved me the effort (a copy is the only way to have a PHP replaced if it is "misplaced"--Guest services at WDW will replace it if you have the copy)

Jessethecowgirl - I agree with you on all those points - except the 'free shipping' - I was charged a $15 shipping fee for my order - had to sign for the package at the door - very 'safe' way to ship tickets that anyone could use without ID - no problems!:smooth:

EDIT: Ooooops! My 'early morning eyes' read your post as 'free shipping' instead of 'fast shipping'! Now I agree with you on ALL points ! :teeth: - my shipping was also fast - and I received e-mail notice of what day it would arrive.
