Has anyone eaten there? Was it good? Do they have a great menu? I can't find a menu anywhere any info would be great? Is is great for an and 12 yr old?

We ate there and were not that happy with it. I got a burger and it was fine but I wanted something other than fries as a side and I wasn't allowed to sub a side at all. My DH had a buritto and complained that it was not enough like a real burritto- it had too many fancy type ingredients for him. To us it wasn't worth the price for okay food.

We have walked by several times and finally decided to try this restaurant this summer. We've already been back 3 times because it was so good. We highly recommend the chips and salsa, it is one of the best we have ever had! The fish tacos are great and the grilled pineapple, smoked gouda, and bacon burger was surprisingly delicious. (We even made it ourselves when we got back home).
They have a nice atmosphere, hope you give it a try!

I'm very sorry to learn of this. We've had several really good lunches there but not since May. Was planning to go back on on upcoming trip. Thanks for the headsup, Uncleromulus.

In the past, we had no problems with substitutions either. I wonder if rlovew had an uncooperative server or if that's a new policy?

I wouldn't! Not for a 12 yo. It's a restaurant not just a bar.

It's in DTD in the area that used to be Pleasure Island.....or is it still called that?

Pretty much my exact feeling about the place. I wasn't impressed with the taste or quality of anything we had, nor did I feel anything was particularly well-prepared. I'd say that in quality, it's comparable to Chili's. To paraphrase your post, for what they charge and what you get in return, it's not worth it.

Throw in the awful service we got, and I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Maybe to the bar, but not to dine.

We just had a large group of 33 eat there on September 24th. We had a great time, with great food, drinks, and service. The beef skewers (appetizer) were delicious and everybody in our group loved their food, except for 2 people who ordered the chix sandwich. I know that the skirt steak, surf and turf, burger (with the grilled pineapple), burrito, chips and salsa, and the desserts were some of the items ordered and everyone liked them! Mad Hattered: The menu you linked to is the current and correct one. The one you posted from ALLEARS is out of date.
Lots of items on the ALLEARS menu are missing from the current menu--including all the pork dishes!! Which I liked a lot!!
