Can you tell me anything & everything you know & feel about this hotel? We may stay there for a few nights and would love to know all there is to know.

Thank you!

we stayed there in March 2004...and had a renovated room. We got a SUPER AP rate $59.00 for Sunday, $79.00 m-th!!! That being said, when we checked in, we were given an upper theme park view!! We were surprised and thrilled when the clerk told us that. Well..we got to the room and found it odd that there was construction going on immediatly adjacent to our room..as in about 10 inches from our door. I had previously thought that the floors that were being renovated were closed totally, but I figured I was wrong. When we tried to open the door, it would not open. I checked the room # that the clerk had written down, and we were at the correct room. I went to the front desk to figure out what had happened, and they told me that I was at the wrong room, I was SUPPOSED to be in a lower standard room. That was fine with me , since that is what I booked. Anyway, the desk clerk told me to change rooms, so I went to find my family (they had waited in the hallway at the 1st room). But when I got there....no family. I asked a CM if he had seen them, but he obviously did not speak english. So I went to the new room, the key worked and I went in and called the front desk, thinking that maybe they had sent someone up and told my family that was not the right room, but the FD didn't know anything about it. They seemed put out that I was bothering them. So I walked back to the 1st room...still no family. I went back to the 2nd room...still no family. So I called the 1st room....and my DH answered!!!! Apparently The guy with all of our luggage had come up and let my family in room # 1!!!! I told DH that we had to move...he was mad because while I was searching for them, he had unpacked everything. So we packed up, and had already called the front desk to have the luggage moved, but the bellhop never showed!!! We ended up making 3 trips up and down the elevator to move our own luggage!!!!! Definitley NOT that great disney service that we get at WDW! When DH called the FD to complain, they basically gave him the brush off....but they did send us some big mickey cookies and milk to the room later. There was no note of apology for the inconvience or anything like that, just the cookies and milk.
the room was a renovated room, and was nice, not ALOT of themeing, but a little. Our view was a wall and the top of the maliboomer, which was about what I had expected when I booked. I am VERY glad that I got the price that I did, if I had paid more I would have been dissapointed. I think that a better value could be had on Harbour Blvd. normally. Also....it is not just a quick walk to the parks...Harbour would be closer....especially since PP's private entrance has been closed to DCA!!

My friend and I had stayed at the PP last April. Now, before I start the first time we went and stayed on sight we stayed to GCH, but couldn't find a rate we were willing to pay at GCH so we chose PP in April. We got a newly renevated room as well as a theme park view. The room was nicely decorated, but nothing really special. The window doesn't open very far, and even with it closed we could hear the traffic down below like we had it open all the way. I hope that they have since gotten new windows, but I don't know for sure. The restaurants are nothing to rave over, the service isn't the best, I just wasn't really impressed for what is supposed to be a Disney owned hotel. We decided that we would stay at GCH from here on out and now that they have closed the exclusive entrance for PP guest, it makes that decision much easier!

We stayed at the PP September of this year. While we liked the hotel okay it was not nearly as nice and "Disneyish" as the Disneyland Hotel. The room was nice we had a view of the pool. There was a few Disney touches like the lamp and the soap and of course you could get the Mickey wake up call. Other than that it didn't feel like being on Disney property. The pool was really boring except for the slide which the kids enjoyed but still preferred the Neverland pool. I agree with the previous poster about the service. The CM's at this hotel are not nearly as helpful and nice as the ones at the Disneyland Hotel. Another problem was the elevators. They don't have enough of them so you often have to wait. We did not wait to the extent that I have heard other people complain about but it could take awhile. Also, I noticed the front desk is really tiny. If you were checking in at a peak time (which we weren't thank goodness) I could see there being a very long wait as I think there is only room for maybe 4 or 5 front desk people. The room however was nice and large. The daybed was much more comfortable than the daybeds at the DL Hotel. It was very clean and new. I would still stay here again if I got a very good rate. If not I would definitely opt for the Disneyland Hotel or if you can really afford it the Grand Californian. The walk from PP to the parks is not really much more than the DL Hotel especially if you are in a Bonita Tower room. Hope this helps. If you do a search I believe it was Mary Jo who posted some really nice pictures of the PP awhile back. Good luck!
