Parades at the Studios and Animal Kingdom?

If not, are there plans to bring something back in 2016?

If not, why not? Is Disney phasing out Parades?

I think we may see parades return once all the park construction is done. AK is undergoing the addition of new nighttime experiences and I could see a parade returning once it's all settles and the park is operating with new hours. DHS, well, DHS is a mess right now and that's going to continue for a while. Once all is said and done, however, it wouldn't shock me if they brought back a parade there too.

Ever the optimist, eh? My cynical side says they won't return the parades. They'll count on newbies not knowing they ever existed, and veterans just accepting another cut. How many people remember that Epcot ever had a parade?

That was only during the millennium celebration though. I seem to remember reading that they decided not to continue it because it caused too much of an issue with guests getting around the World Showcase while it was taking place.

- The discussion was that the Studios parade was being affected by the RFID readers that had been installed and were interfering with floats guidance. Good story, sounds plausible, have no idea if it's true but that parade did stop abruptly in that time frame. With all that will be added, I don't see that coming back. I don't think it structurally can support a real parade. I will be happy with the fireworks returning each day like they did a long time ago.

- Animal Kingdom parade (and so thrilled to have been on float in parade shortly before it ended) was planned closure due to all the upcoming construction. The walls that have been up have really tightened the park, parade was going to be too much. I don't think we'll see it come back, just an opinion, because the walkways have not gotten any bigger, but with the new additions the park will get more crowded. I think all this night time light show is their alternative.

- MK will always have parades, it's an integral part of it.

- Epcot .......... loved Tapestry of Nations, would love to see something like that come back. Loved the puppets! My DS was only 12 when it closed and he still talks about it.
