Parade of Dreams

So over the last almost year I have had the amazing blessing to watch the "Parade of Dreams" at least a half dozen times.

I feel like such a child but am I the only one to get a lump in my throat while watching the parade?? (Maybe I should start taking some cough medicine huh ). Such a blessing for me to be there every time.

I have seen many parade in Disneyland but I find this one is by far the best one, with a VERY strong soundtrack.

Please let me know I'm not the only one to feel that way.

Your not alone.

I remember my first trip in 2006, I was never able to go as a child but wanted to make sure I was able to share it with my own children, no matter what.

When I first walked through the turnstiles and heard the band playing I knew we were in for a treat our first day. We kept walking and when I finally came around the corner at the beginning of main street and saw the castle....I cried.

Here I was, 28 years old and sharing the most amazing experience of my life with the most amazing PEOPLE in my life...my very own family. It was a life long dream that I was able to carry out and share with my little ones...seeing it through their eyes for the first time as well.

And now I get to do it all over again with our newest addition in Oct. He will be almost 2 and I cannot wait to share the excitement with him and neither can the rest of us...my dh and dd's are oober excited to see his reactions as well.

Everyone has a memory of their first time seeing/being in DL. Its something special and mine holds a special place in my heart.

Parades are the best....you can't help but to get choked up with excitement.

We will be going to Disneyland in September this year and cannot WAIT to see this parade. I have heard so many good things about it and will be a nice change from the WDW Dreams Come True Parade that has been running forever and that I saw way too many times!!!!!!

I agree that Disney certainly outdid themselves with their Parade of Dreams. Great floats, great music and I don't usually like parades, but I find myself dreaming of when I can see it again in September. My mom didn't get to see it last time we were there in 2006, so I'm glad it's still running.

Loved the Parade of Dreams when we saw in June 2006...can't wait to see it next Sunday again!

We have seen this several times too and I just love it. There is something about this parade with the charcters and music that takes me to a special place that is undescribable.

For me it's the Remember fireworks. Every frickin' time I cry. Disneyland is so amazing and magical that I get so emotional about how great it is everytime I go. Yay for Disneyland!

Parade of Dreams is my all time favorite Disney parade. I hope the next parade is at least equal to it.
