Is there currently a parade at Disney Studios? I did not think there was one, but I just got a copy of the Brit's Guide to Disneyland Paris today and it mentions a parade in there.

No at the moment there isnt the cinema parade ended at the beginning of the year. The new parade (stars and motors cars for Holywood Studios with some changes) will start in March 2009 (although I would have thought it would unofficially start a week or two before that to practice the parade before the official opening).

Thanks for the info. Brit's Guide has the Stars and Motor Cars Parade in 2008. Looks like this is one of those famous Disney delays

No I think its the Brits Guide making the mistakes!:sad2:

I think there are quite a few aspects of that book that are either wrong or out of date but it is still the best guide book for DLRP.

I have been buying the Orlando version every year since 2000 so I just had to get the Disneyland Paris version. So far I just have flicked through, but once I finish the book that I am currently reading, I will read it from cover to cover. Any specific areas that I need to take with a grain of salt?

Its only little things but some of their descriptions of restaurants, prices etc I find are out of date. I also dont like how they are biased to certain places (Planet Hollywood being a big one as they seem to recieve payment to put in a really good review-even though most people on here says its rubbish). I don't think it gives you any real "insider tips" rather just a good basic overview of the park and its rides, but I think you can find much better reviews/money saving tips/recomendations over the internet then in that book.

Thanks again. I have never set foot into a Planet Hollywood restaurant and are not about to start so that does not bother me. I have not been to DLP since Christmas 2002 so a basic run down was exactly what I was looking for.
