I do know there is a Laduree in NYC. But now that I like macarons I will have to try it out the next time I go to NYC.If you go to NYC for Christmas, Bryant Park shops have a little macaron place. I'm not sure if it was a Lauderee, probably not but all the same still really good!

They did take down the original one, there is now another one in the works right down the street.I thought I read or heard that they took the lock bridge down. It is definitely very cool looking and I would think most of the tourist would want to go see it. I know I would.
