Panic mode!

My trip to WDW begins tomorrow. My flight leaves at 8:35am. St. Louis is flooding in places. I44 is closing sometime today and I'm on the wrong side. Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't leave now. I'm hoping my boss will let me off early. I did just reserve a hotel room next to the airport so if I can leave early, I should be safe.

I sure do wish Florida would have gotten a bunch of this water.

He's an awesome boss and he's usually pretty good about things like this, but sometimes he just can't do anything. I'm looking into other routes as well. If they are still open, I hope they stay that way until late tonight.

Here's good wishes and thoughts on getting to leave early . Do be careful in your travels, flood waters and water covered streets are nothing to mess with. Have a wonderful trip!

I made it to the airport before the roads closed. Have been having a great time at WDW so far. Gorgeous day today. Nice breeze. I'm definitely happy to be here rather than home and surrounded by flood waters.
