Okay, yay! We are leaving Jan. 5th for a week long Disney trip! We've only gone once before, five years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer and wished to go through Make A Wish. They had EVERYTHING done for us--tickets, reservations, plans, spending money...it was wonderful. So this time I am stressing! Our reservations are made, but I'm freaking nonetheless--am I making good choices? (Rainforest Cafe, San Angel Inn, Cinderella's Royal Table, The Plaza, and Mama Melrose's--we also will be going to the ESPN Grill). Worrying about what to pack, how much money should we bring, should we pack a suitcasefull of snacks/drinks or use a grocery delivery service when we get there?? Okay, so excited we are, but I am FREAKING out. Thanks for listening. Any last minute advice greatly appreciated, too : )

Welcome to the DIS.

My advice.... BREATH, it will all work out.

Just Breathe, and know that whatever choices you have made will be great! You will have fun no matter what!
Happy packing!

We'll be there at the same time....and we're in Wisconsin too! :thumbsup2

My advice is to relax and take advantage of all the packing lists and things on this board. The search button is my best friend. lol

The fact that you even made reservations for restaurants puts you a step ahead of most people. Although I know how you feel, try not to worry too much! In reality, even the most careful of planners can't plan for everything. The important part is to go with the flow and have fun.

As far as the snacks/drinks go, that really depends on a few factors. The cost of checking a bag like that might be higher/lower than a grocery service. I'm guessing you won't have a rental car, since you didn't give a grocery shopping trip as an option. Also, if you are on the DDP, know that each person gets at least 1 snack credit per day, which doesn't seem like a lot, but it can add up. Even if you don't pack/order the right amount of drinks/snacks, you can always pay for a couple. The refillable mugs at the resorts can be a great investment for drinks, too.

Where are you staying?
